My OWH Bday Bash :)

Hello there everyone! Sorry in advance for this being an extra long post, but I was so excited to have my OWH Bday Bash today, I just couldnt wait to post the results! If you havent yet heard about the Bday Bash, you can click here to get more info.

My party was initially planned for tomorrow, but one of my friends made plans and needed the party moved up, so we did it today. Unfortunately, she had a family emergency earlier this week, as did 3 other guests, so only 1 of my friends could make it today anyway :/ There will be other cardmaking parties in the future tho, so no worries, right?!

Here is a pic of all the fun foods my wonderful husband and I made (mini burgers and chips n dip) :

Here is a pic of one of the prizes I put together for each of my guests (several sheets of 12X12 scrapbook paper, 1 box of adhesives, some stickers, ribbon, rubber stamps and chipboard along with some other goodies):

And finally, here is a pic of my only guest and my son who thought he was being a good helper (not too bad for a 2 1/2 year old!) :

And lastly, here are the kits I put together for all my guests (180 cards total):
made 80 cards
made 20 cards
made 20 cards
made 20 cards
made 20 cards
made 20 cards

I hope you all enjoyed this post as much as I did putting it together! Its been a busy week here making sure everything was put together and done for my guests, so now I have to re-check the OWH Stars & Stamps Blog to get making my sketch #32 and the midweek throwdown! I hear there are some goodies to win :)

Take care and I hope my party inspired some of you out there to put together your own and get crafting!!

  8. i DO love making cards for the soldiers! i wished my husband knew about OWH when he was deployed, i would have loved to have gotten a card like these in the mail :) soldiers do a lot for our country and i feel like the little bit i do for them helps them to at least keep in touch with their families back home :)
