Sketch #54

Hello there everyone!

It's starting to feel like winter again here in Germany, we even got a dusting of snow last night....we've had a couple of weeks of nice, bearable weather, now its starting to feel like Christmas all over again lol....Since it's so cold outside, my Aidan and I stay inside and do fun crafts together! He is a Play-Doh addict and I make my cards while he's in play mode. I am astonished to see that we can both play at the dining room table together without getting in each other's way....or making a bigger mess!

This week's sketch is for week 54, and you can find the sketch for it here. My take on it was inspired by the focal point seminar posted on the OWH blog, but looks a little different than the sketch because I couldn't find a scrap piece of paper that went with the colors I used, but also didn't compete too much with the red and yellow I already had going on....I hope it looks ok as is though! I have a whole stock pile of cartoon stickers, so I think I will be making a lot more cards like this!

I love to be able to help our deployed heroes write and send some love home to the special kids in their lives!

Hope you are all having a beautiful week, and for those of you getting all that snow back home, I hope you don't have to go out in it, but if you do, try to stay warm and safe!
Happy crafting,
Turtle aka Sara

  1. Aww, that's a cute card. My little nephew calls him "Mo-mo." I like the way you layered the circles beneath him. Thanks for playing along in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
