Challenge #28 for OWH

Hey there everyone! Been one super busy weekend, but I threw myself into my card making tonight anyway! I just had to get back in the habit of working on my blog and trying to get at least one card made per challenge. I got over 50 cards made for the month of June, so Im trying to beat my record there as well!

Here is the challenge for this week:

And here is my take on it:

I cheated on the horizontal stripes (instead of using individual strips, i used a piece of paper with lines on it), but I think overall, the card turned out really well! I just hope it brings a smile on some little boys face when they get it in the mail from their hero!

Have a great week all you crafty critters and thanks so much for stopping in to see my card!

Take care,
~Turtle~

  1. adorable...I'm sure it will make a little boy VERY happy!

    P.S., I don't think it's cheating with the stripes!!

  10. I found out that the unknown kitty image you liked on my card is by High Hopes and you can find it right here:

If that link doesn't work, go to www.highhopesstamps.com and look in the winter season for the Callie Christmas Kitty on page 19. Enjoy :)
