OWH Sketch #22

Hey there everyone! Another Monday, brings about another card :) I am just so addicted to making cards for OWH, I am so thrilled that they have these sketches every Sunday so I can get inspired even more to make different kinds of cards!

I have been in this Birthday card hunt ever since the July 2nd Blog Tour was posted, but seems its always hard to make cards without a specific person in mind....so, I decided, Im going to make little boy birthday cards, with my son in mind. I know there are a lot of parents deployed right now, as there always is, and someone is going to need to send their little boy a birthday card at some point! I hope it makes their little guy's day when he gets it in the mail too!

I have been watching TwoPeasInABucket videos on youtube a lot lately, and Kristina makes some very beautiful cards....and I noticed, a lot of her cards have a white "Faux" stitch look to them with gel pen, so I thought I would give it a shot too, and I think it turned out kinda cute!

Well, Im off to make more cards, hope you all enjoyed! Take care and Happy Scrapping :)

  2. Adorable card! I often choose an "imaginary" recipient in my mind when making cards too. It makes it easier to stay focused and I imagine there is high demand for children's cards from all the Dad and Mom heroes far from their kids.
